Mr. Schnauber, in a somewhat un-generous review, had nothing to say about the palpable emotion surrounding Maestro Ozawa's first BSO engagement since leaving it's helm 6 years ago.The Friday afternoon iteration of this concert began and ended with standing ovations for the clearly beloved former music directer. Nor were the members of the orchestra diffident in their displays. The concert was a real love fest.
