		<description>By whiteness, I meant that the music was with a blank, ritualistic quality, letting the notes do the work moreso than the players. If you know Satie&#039;s Socrate, Satie used that language to describe the music. I&#039;m pretty sure Stravinsky took from Satie&#039;s approach to portraying classical Greek subject matter.</description>
