The new piano was a great improvement,"sonorous and responsive" was what I wrote to a pianist who felt the old one needed replacement after performing on it. Maestro Sherman gave strong, superb( though willful,) performances. How wonderful to play so powerfully. We all empathize with him. MS Late comments.
