		<description>I can only say that I wish the New York Philharmonic would receive as well-thought out and written review as this one!  The comment about the players listening to one another is so telling: and this conductor, being a founding member of Orpheus, certainly has the background and experience of many years of playing with every kind of chamber and symphony orchestra to allow the players to shine individually as well as collectively.  What a joy it must be for the players to have a sensitive musician directing their work and encouraging their contributions!
The program also shows the value of connected works by the same composer, to help the listener
understand the evolution of musical ideas.  I wish I had been playing this concert......</description>
