We heard Friday PM live, and it was indeed glorious. Sadly,
the Saturday night broadcast was a horror. I've sent this
message to the Managing Director and to the Personnel Manager
of the orchestra:

Saturday night's (1 May) broadcast of the BSO suffered truly
ugly distortion thanks to WCRB's signal processing (butchering
is a better term.) This was not a case of weak signal --- two
respectable tuners showed full signal strength.

I hope the BSO players and management can do something to remedy
this misrepresentation of the orchestra's sound. Perhaps a
switch to WHRB is in order, assuming they're willing.
